Important: the $0.50 per carton is a fixed assumption built into the tool, not an official Amazon fee. It is not described as a platform fee. You can treat it as your own assumption, for example a reserve for materials, carton preparation, labels, or another organizational cost you want to include in the calculation.

If you do not want to add carton costs, enter 0 in the Cartons field. Then the second result will equal the first, because the add-on will be $0.00. If you want to calculate only the placement fee itself, use the first result. Always check whether the assumption you use fits your situation and the current pricing schedule.
