How to Use the Ozon FBO Calculator

The Ozon FBO cost calculator helps you quickly see how much of a product price is left after the platform's fees in the FBO model. All calculations run locally in your browser, and your data is never sent anywhere.

Fill in four fields — you can change every one of them:

  • Price — the selling price, 1500 ₽ by default.
  • Commission % — the commission rate, 17 by default.
  • Last-mile delivery — the cost of delivering the parcel the final stretch, 55 ₽ by default.
  • Processing — the cost of handling the order, 25 ₽ by default.

Every time you change a value, two results update instantly: Ozon fees and You receive. The tool's currency is the ruble (₽), the settlement currency for that market. You can also enter amounts in any other currency — the calculator does not convert exchange rates, it simply works with the numbers you give it.

With the default values it looks like this:

  1. Commission = 1500 × 17 ÷ 100 = 255 ₽
  2. Ozon fees = 255 + 55 + 25 = 335 ₽
  3. You receive = 1500 − 335 = 1,165 ₽

The calculator then shows: Ozon fees 335.00 ₽, You receive 1,165.00 ₽. That is only a starting point — plug in your own rates and compare the result with the platform's current pricing.

How the Ozon Commission Affects Fees and Payout

The commission is the share of the price that the platform charges. In this tool it is always calculated from the selling price: commission = price × commission rate ÷ 100. The higher the price, the larger the commission amount, but its share of the price stays the same.

Last-mile delivery and processing are flat amounts here, not percentages. They do not depend on the product price: on a cheap listing they take a bigger bite out of your payout, and on a more expensive one a proportionally smaller share.

See how the result changes at a price of 1500 ₽ when you enter different commission rates, leaving last-mile delivery at 55 ₽ and processing at 25 ₽:

CommissionCommission in ₽Ozon feesYou receive
10%150.00 ₽230.00 ₽1,270.00 ₽
17%255.00 ₽335.00 ₽1,165.00 ₽
25%375.00 ₽455.00 ₽1,045.00 ₽

The rates in the table are only an example you can type in yourself. In practice they depend on the product category and your agreement, so check the platform's current pricing before you make a decision.

Last-Mile Delivery and Processing in Ozon FBO — What They Mean

Last-mile delivery is the cost of getting the parcel to the customer, meaning the final leg from the warehouse to the buyer. Processing is the cost of handling the order on the warehouse side: receiving the product, picking it, and preparing the parcel for shipment.

In the calculator you enter both costs as specific ruble amounts. By default that is 55 ₽ for last-mile delivery and 25 ₽ for processing, but you can replace them with your own values.

In practice these are usually a fixed part of the fees — you pay them regardless of the product price. It is worth looking at them separately:

  • you sell cheap — the fixed fees take a large share of the price,
  • you sell expensive — their share of the price is smaller,
  • you change the price — the commission grows along with it, while these two items stay the same unless you enter different amounts.

Do not assume, though, that these are all the order-handling costs in FBO. The tool shows only the three fees you enter in the fields.

How to Calculate the Real FBO Cost: Logistics, Storage, Returns

The You receive result is the price after subtracting the fees entered in the calculator. It is not profit. To estimate the real cost of selling in FBO, add these items to those fees:

  • Cost of goods — purchase or production, plus unit packaging.
  • Logistics and storage — getting the goods to the platform's warehouse, storage, and long-term storage fees.
  • Returns — accepting a return, repackaging the product, and sometimes a loss in the item's value.
  • Payments and taxes — payment processing and tax settlements in your situation.
  • Advertising and promotions — your budget for listing visibility, discounts, and campaigns.

The simple math is: net profit ≈ price − Ozon fees − cost of goods − other costs. If very little is left after subtracting everything, run the numbers on your offer again. Sometimes it is better to raise the price, bundle products together, or change your assortment than to sell at a margin close to zero.

It is also worth saving your own rates and coming back to the calculator whenever pricing or your agreement changes. That way you can quickly see how the new terms translate into your payout.

Limitations: What the Tool Does Not Calculate

This calculator works with exactly what you enter: commission, last-mile delivery, and processing. By design it leaves out many other things, so treat the result as an estimate:

  • it does not calculate the cost of goods or preparing them,
  • it does not include logistics to the warehouse or storage,
  • it does not cover payment processing or merchant acquiring fees,
  • it does not include taxes or other charges,
  • it does not estimate the cost of returns, advertising, or promotions,
  • it does not know your category, weight, dimensions, or individual contract terms,
  • it does not convert currencies — it works with the amounts you enter.

The default rates are only a starting point and you can edit them. Before you make a pricing decision, check the platform's current pricing and your own statements. Then the calculator's result will be a solid basis for further analysis, not a ready answer to everything.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the Ozon FBO model?

In the FBO model, goods are stored and shipped from the platform's warehouse, and the seller pays fees for order handling. This calculator lets you estimate three of them: commission, last-mile delivery, and processing.

How much is left from a 1500 ₽ price with the default settings?

With a price of 1500 ₽, a 17% commission, 55 ₽ last-mile delivery, and 25 ₽ processing, the calculator shows Ozon fees of 335.00 ₽ and You receive 1,165.00 ₽. The commission alone is 255 ₽, and the other 80 ₽ comes from the two flat fees.

Can I change the rates in the calculator?

Yes, all four values are editable: price, commission percentage, last-mile delivery, and processing. Enter the rates from the platform's current pricing or from your own agreement to get a result closer to your situation.

Does the calculator convert rubles into other currencies?

No, the tool does not convert currencies and does not know any exchange rates. It works with the numbers you type in, so you can enter amounts in any currency — the result will be in the same currency as your input.

Is the You receive result my net profit?

No. You receive is the price after subtracting commission, last-mile delivery, and processing. To find your profit, you still need to subtract the cost of goods, logistics, storage, returns, taxes, and advertising.

Is my data sent anywhere?

No. The calculations run locally in your browser and nothing is transmitted anywhere. Just open the page, enter your values, and read the results.

The rates in this calculator are approximate and may change — check the current Ozon pricing for your category and FBO model before you make a decision.
