What exactly does the calculator count

Trap: "about 2.0" capacity
"It's probably 2.0" sounds innocent, but in practice it makes the difference between the two rates. Check the capacity in cm³ in the documents, and if you don't have it - in the specification by VIN or from a reliable source. One number can change your tax bill by thousands.
Trap: wrong type of hybrid
HEV/mHEV and PHEV are not the same. If you choose the wrong type, the result will look "almost right", but in the end the difference may be noticeable. If the car is charged from a socket, it is a PHEV. If not - most often HEV (or mHEV).
