The calculator counts the days from the start date to the end date (inclusive), excludingSaturdays, Sundays and all public holidays in Poland- including movable holidays (Easter, Whitsunday, Corpus Christi) and Christmas Eve (from 2025). If you work on Saturdays, you can treat them as working days with one click.
What is the number of business days used for?
- official and court deadlines (e.g. appeal within 14 days),
- holiday planning - how many holiday days will be taken up by the trip,

Working days in 2026 - how many
The year 2026 has251 working days(2,008 full-time working hours). The calculator counts weekends and all 13 public holidays, including those falling on working days: New Year's Day (Thursday), Epiphany (Tuesday), Easter Monday (April 6), May 1 (Friday), Corpus Christi (Thursday, June 4), November 11 (Wednesday) and December 24-25 (Thursday-Friday; from 2025, Christmas Eve is a day off work).

* In August (15/08) and December (26/12) the holiday falls on Saturday - for a holiday falling on Saturday, the employer gives another day off, which reduces the working time in these months.
Business days and official and court deadlines
Note the difference: most deadlines from the Code of Administrative Procedure and the Tax Ordinance are counted incalendar days, but if the end of the deadline falls on a Saturday or a holiday, it is moved to the next business day. You will encounter the terms "within business days" mainly in contracts, deliveries and complaints (e.g. "response within 14 business days" = realistically ~3 weeks). The calculator counts both variants: business days between dates and the date "X business days from today".
Holiday calendar 2026 - dates and days of the week
In 2026, there are14 public holidays(including Christmas Eve). Two of them fall on Sunday and two more on Saturday - the Saturday ones (August 15 and December 26) give employees an additional day off to take. Here is the full list with dates and days of the week:

Hint long weekends:Corpus Christi (Thursday, June 4) just "extend" one day of leave on Friday, June 5 to gain 4 days off. Similarly, May 1 (Friday) creates a long weekend without taking any vacation.
