When purchasing goods outside Poland, it is worth paying attention to several technical and financial aspects:
- Delivery costs:Foreign branches (e.g. Amazon.de) often offer free shipping to Poland for orders over a certain amount (usually EUR 39 to EUR 49).
- VAT conversion:Prices visible on foreign versions of the website include local VAT (e.g. 19% in Germany). When shipping to Poland, Amazon will calculate the price according to the Polish VAT rate (23%), which will slightly increase the final amount.
- Transaction currency conversion:Banks may charge high commissions for card payments in euros or pounds. It is best to pay with multi-currency cards (e.g. Revolut) or choose Amazon's official currency conversion (Amazon Converter), although the latter can be more expensive.

Does the Polish Amazon account work on foreign versions of the website?

What is an ASIN and where can I find it?
ASIN (Amazon Standard Identification Number) is a 10-character code assigned to each product. You will find it in the product details on the Amazon website or directly in the website URL (e.g. after the word "/dp/" or "/product/").
Does Amazon Prime work abroad?
No. An Amazon Prime subscription purchased in Poland (Amazon.pl) does not provide free shipping or access to Prime Video when shopping on Amazon.de or Amazon.co.uk. Prime is tied to a specific country market.
