What is the calculator for?

The tool will be useful wherever you need to quickly calculate a specific date without manually counting it on the calendar. Typical uses:

  • Legal and contractual terms– calculate the expiry date of a contract, the expiry of the notice period (e.g. 30 days from today) or the due date of an invoice.
  • Warranty and warranty– check when the 2-year warranty (730 days from purchase) or the 5-year warranty expires.
  • Pregnancy and health- the due date is set approximately 280 days from the first day of the last menstrual period; the calculator will show the approximate date in a few seconds.
  • Design and planning– set a project deadline: if you start today and have 90 business days for implementation (the tool counts calendar days), you can easily check the approximate completion date.
  • All deductions– how many days until the holiday, how many days remain until the anniversary or the expiration of the insurance policy.

FAQ

Does the calculator take into account leap years?

Yes. Calculations are based on PHP's built-in date support (DateTimeImmutable), which automatically takes into account leap years. You can safely add e.g. 366 days to a leap year date.

Does the tool count business days?

No - the calculator counts calendar days (all days, including weekends and holidays). If you only care about working days, you need a separate calculator that takes into account your work schedule.

What is the maximum calculation range?

You can enter up to 365,000 days, which is almost 1,000 years. The tool can handle both historical dates and dates in the distant future.

How to calculate the warranty period (2 years from purchase)?

Enter the purchase date as the base date, select operationAdd daysand specify 730 days (or 731 for leap years). The result will indicate the last day of the warranty.

How to determine the due date?

Enter the first day of your last period as the base date, selectAdd daysand enter 280 days. The resulting date is the approximate due date. Remember that this is only an approximate calculation - your doctor may adjust it based on tests.

Can I count to dates in the past?

Yes. Select theSubtract Daysoperation to go back the specified number of days. This is useful, for example, for determining what date was 90 days ago (needed when analyzing transactions or tax settlements).
