If you've ever looked at the Schema.org documentation and had the impression that it was "cool, but not today", then you're in the right place. This generator allows you to click the ready-madeJSON-LDcode for the most common cases (company, person, product, article, FAQ, breadcrumbs, website search engine) and immediately paste it onto the website. The effect is supposed to be simple:Google should understand what you show- without guessing.
Why have these tags at all? (and what they actually change)
Structured data is a kind of content "metric" for the search engine. A website can be beautiful, fast and full of information, and yet Google can read it at first glance: a title, a few sentences, a link. Schema.org (in JSON-LD format) provides context:is it an organization, or a product, who is the author, what does the navigation path look like, what questions do you answer.
There is no magic here like "I paste the code and tomorrow I'm #1". But there is something very practical: when the robot understands the page, it is easier for him to adapt it to the user's intentions, and sometimes display it in a richer form (e.g. as FAQ elements, breadcrumbs). And a richer result often means a better CTR because it is simply more eye-catching.
How this generator works - in practice, step by step
The fun is that you selectdata type, fill in the fields and click "Generate Schema Code". On the right side you get a preview of the ready JSON-LD and a version to paste as an HTML script. You usually paste the generated code into thesection (or in the place your CMS allocates for scripts).
- Select a data type (e.g. Organization, Product, Article, FAQ, Breadcrumbs).
- Enter the information as it actually appears on the page.
- Click generate and copy the JSON-LD code.
- Paste the code into the page and test it in Google's rich results tool.
And now an important detail: you don't have to fill out absolutely everything. It's usually better to have ashorter but coherentdiagram than an "encyclopedia" with forced fields. This generator is purposely so that you can start with the basics and then refine the designed details.
What will you generate in this tool?
🏢 Organization / 👤 Person
Perfect when you want to make it clear "who is behind the page". Name, URL, logo, description, contact, social media (sameAs) - and you have the foundation for credibility.
In practice, this is useful on company websites, portfolios, service websites and wherever the user (and Google) wants to know "who it is".
📍 Local Business (LocalBusiness)
If you operate locally, this is the most common choice. In addition to the organization's details, there is also the address. This helps organize information about your company in a local context - especially when you have a service side and customers in the area.
In the generator, you fill in the basics and the address, and the whole thi
