Other tools you may find usefulText SEO Analyzer
Text SEO Analyzer is a free online tool that allows you to assess the quality and optimization of your content for search engines. Just paste any text and the tool will immediately calculate key indicators: readability, phrase density, number of words and many other parameters necessary in content marketing.
What is a text SEO analyzer used for?
The tool allows you to understand how search engine algorithms evaluate your text. Calculates the Flesch readability index (0-100), Flesch-Kincaid difficulty level (equivalent to school grade), average number of words per sentence, and average number of syllables per word. Thanks to this, you can quickly check whether your article is understandable to the target audience. The tool also counts words, characters, paragraphs and sentences, and provides estimated reading time (225 words/min) and speaking time (130 words/min).
How to use the analyzer?
Paste text into the "Content" box - this could be a blog article, product description, landing page, or any content you want to rate. Click "Analyze" and read the results: a metric bar with basic statistics, readability cards with the Flesch index and a table of TOP 10 key phrases divided into single, two-word and three-word words. Use the "Example" button to see what the analysis of a sample SEO text looks like.
How to interpret the Flesch readability index?
The Flesch Reading Ease scale measures how easy a text is to read. A score from 0 to 100 is calculated from a formula that takes into account the average length of sentences and syllables. The higher the score, the simpler the text:
- 90–100- Very easy, suitable for grade 5 students. Short sentences, simple words.
- 70-90- Easy to Fairly Easy. Perfect for blog content and product descriptions.
- 60–70- Standard. Suitable for general adult readers.
- 30-60- Hard. Requires higher education; suitable for specialized content.
- 0–30- Very difficult. Academic and legal texts.
For most marketing content, it is worth aiming for a score above 60. Technical content (IT, law, medicine) may be lower - it is important that they are understandable to your target group.
Keyword density - how to analyze it?
The analyzer displays the TOP 10 key phrases in three categories: single words (monograms), two-word phrases (bigrams) and three-word phrases (trigrams). For each phrase, the number of occurrences and percentage density are provided. The optimal density for your main keyword is typically 1-3%. Too high a density (above 5%) may be considered by Google as over-optimization (keyword stuffing) and negatively affect the position in the search results.
Bigrams and trigrams are particularly useful: they allow you to identify natural long-tail phrases that attract highly targeted search engine traffic. Modern Google algorithms understand semantics perfectly, so writing in natural language with a variety of phrases is more effective than mechanically repeating one phrase.
Frequently asked questions
Does the analyzer support Polish?
The analyzer engine (syllable counting, stopwords for n-gram filtering) is optimized for English. Quantitative statistics (number of words, characters, sentences, paragraphs) work correctly for any Unicode-based language, while Flesch Index and n-gram density give the most accurate results for English texts. We are working on supporting the Polish language.
How much text can I analyze?
The tool accepts texts of up to 10,000 characters in one processing. This is more than enough to analyze a typical blog article (1,000-2,000 words). For longer content, divide the text into sections and analyze each section separately.
What is Flesch-Kincaid Grade Level?
Flesch-Kincaid Grade Level is an indicator corresponding to the school grade number in the American system. A score of 8 means that the text is understandable to a 8th grade student (14-15 years old). Level 6-8 is recommended for web content. The lower the score, the simpler and more accessible the text.
What is the optimal sentence length for SEO?
Readability studies show that sentences of 15-20 words are best digestible by readers. Longer sentences (over 25 words) lower your Flesch Score and may discourage reading. Vary the structure: short sentences create dynamics, longer ones allow you to develop the idea.
