Why does ASCII Art look distorted when pasted?
ASCII Art requires a monospace font (all characters the same width). In proportional fonts (like Arial, Times), each letter has a different width, which spoils the alignment. Paste ASCII Art in environments that use monospace fonts: terminal, code editors, GitHub README, Discord (in a code block), Slack (in a code block: surround ` ``` `).
How to display ASCII Art in GitHub README?

Do Polish characters (ą, ę, ó, ź) work in ASCII Art?
The ASCII standard (128 characters) does not contain Polish letters. Most ASCII Art converters only support the characters a-z, A-Z, 0-9, and basic symbols. Polish diacritics are usually replaced by their Latin equivalents (ą→a, ę→e, ó→o, ź→z) or omitted. For Polish characters, it is better to use Unicode Art or create your own character maps.
